Mr. van Dissel has worked in the building design, construction and maintenance industry for nearly three decades. He has worked as a contractor, consulting engineer and as the Director of Engineering for a large real estate owner/developer. He has been responsible for and participated with the conceptual design, budgeting, selection of equipment and construction materials, installation methods, interdisciplinary coordination and scheduling of many large and complicated building mechanical, plumbing, electrical, automation, fire alarm, telecommunication infrastructure systems. Expert with the design, specification, installation, startup, operation and maintenance of these systems.

Mr. Ghitea’s work as a forensic consultant is based on over 30 years of experience as an electrical engineer and designer. He has extensive experience covering a range from small residential systems to large systems including generator replacements and large electrical service change-outs. He is experienced in lighting, power, fire alarm and communication design for institutional, medical, commercial and design/build projects. He has performed analysis of electrical systems for hospitals, military and industrial facilities.

Mr. Ghitea’s background in electrical engineering provided a solid platform for performing Forensic Services. Over the past twenty years, he has given testimony at trial, arbitration and deposition for Superior and Federal Court cases. His cases have involved residential construction defects, fire investigations, product defects, electric shock, overhead and underground building systems, lighting surveys, electrical failures, code analysis, personal injury and electrical design.

Mr. Ghitea also performs electrical design and construction document reviews and is LEED AP certified. He is a registered professional engineer in CA, NV, CO & AZ.

Daniel Busan, CPD

Mr. Busan’s work as a forensic consultant is based on more than 35 years’ combined experience as project design engineer and forensic consulting engineer. He has designed HVAC and plumbing systems for a large variety of projects and managed design engineering issues throughout construction management. In over 500 forensics cases Mr. Busan has inspected and investigated conditions and prepared reports of his findings. Mr. Busan has also prepared and delivered defect presentations as well as technical reports including scope of repair and cost estimates. Mr. Busan has participated in numerous mediation sessions and has been deposed as an expert witness and testified under oath at arbitrations.
